Zoe Brown, formerly UKTV’s director of legal and business affairs, has been appointed as Tiger Aspect’s chief commercial officer.

This newly created role will drive commercial performance and work to deliver an ambitious growth plan that is in line with Tiger Aspect’s 30-year heritage while driving innovation and new thinking. The role will also commercially and strategically support a number of other Banijay UK scripted labels that sit alongside or within Tiger Aspect, including Douglas Road, Shiny Button and Blacklight Television.

Brown joins Tiger’s newly established leadership team made up of Head of Drama Lucy Bedford, Head of Comedy David Simpson and Chief Operating Officer Helen Wright. She will report to Banijay UK CEO Lucinda Hicks.

Hicks commented: “Tiger Aspect is full of creative firepower, well-known for working with both world-leading and emerging talent and delivering high-quality hits. As the company’s work becomes increasingly international, and deals ever more complex, we are thrilled to have someone of Zoe’s caliber and experience join the team to ensure that we are as commercially astute as we are creatively prolific.”

Brown added: “It wasn’t just Tiger Aspect’s reputation, expertise and content that attracted me to this role, but also the people and culture. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of Tiger’s new direction, and I am really excited to work with everyone there. I can’t wait to start.”

Bedford, Simpson and Wright said: “We’re thrilled that Zoe is joining us at such an exciting time for Tiger Aspect. Her impeccable track record in pulling together complex deals will be invaluable as we discover, develop and produce the next generation of Tiger shows for the global market. We can’t wait to harness Zoe’s commercial expertise to help us create an environment in which creativity, innovation and ambition can flourish.”
