Danish Comedian Lars Hjortshøj Starring in New NENT Group Original

Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group) is prepping the romantic comedy Big Lars, headlined by the Danish comedian Lars Hjortshøj, as its next original production.

The series blends fiction and reality as it follows Lars (Hjortshøj; Klovn, Langt fra Las Vegas), whose acting career so far hasn’t really measured up. Throwing himself into an increasingly absurd quest for recognition, he discovers that only a successful relationship can make him “Big Lars” at last.

Hjortshøj will be supported by special guest appearances from a number of Danish celebrities. Big Lars will premiere exclusively across the Nordic region on NENT Group’s Viaplay streaming service on April 23.
