Disney+ Rolls Out Pre-Launch Deal in the U.K.

A Disney+ pre-launch offer in the U.K. has made a full-year subscription to the platform available for £49.99 ($65.00).

The introductory price is only available through March 23, with Disney+ launching in the U.K. on March 24. Standard pricing is confirmed at £59.99 ($77.50) for an annual subscription or £5.99 ($7.75) per month. Subscribers will be able to stream Disney+ on nearly all major mobile and connected TV devices, including gaming consoles, streaming media players and smart TVs. Content can be streamed on up to four devices at the same time, with multiple downloads, personalized recommendations and the ability to set up to seven different profiles.

In addition to the U.K., Disney+ will launch on March 24 in Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria and Switzerland. Additional Western European markets, including Belgium, the Nordics and Portugal, will follow over the summer.

At launch, over 25 exclusive Disney+ originals will be available on the platform, including The Mandalorian, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and The World According To Jeff Goldblum. All-new episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will also be on offer.

New feature films exclusive to Disney+ include Togo with Willem Dafoe; the coming-of-age story Stargirl; and Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made. Lady and the Tramp, a re-telling of the 1955 animated classic, will also be available.

Three new live-action series from Marvel Studios are set to debut on Disney+, including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision and Loki. Three further series are in development include Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight and She-Hulk.
