Killing Eve Leads BAFTA Wins

Killing Eve picked up three wins at the Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards, including for best drama series and leading actress for Jodie Comer.

Patrick Melrose, meanwhile, took home two BAFTAs: best miniseries and lead actor for Benedict Cumberbatch.

The BAFTA for entertainment program went to Britain’s Got Talent for the second year in a row. The nod for best comedy entertainment program was awarded to A League of Their Own. I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! won in the reality and constructed factual category, and Who Do You Think You Are? won in the features category. Louis Theroux’s Altered States landed the factual series win, Gun No. 6 won single documentary and Suffragettes with Lucy Worsley won specialist factual. HBO’s Succession picked up the international award.

RED Production Company’s Nicola Shindler was presented with a special award for her contribution to the TV industry.
