FremantleMedia Alum Joss Duffield Rejoins Turner

Joss Duffield, a former FremantleMedia Kids & Family exec, has been hired as Turner’s regional syndication director for the U.K. and Northern Europe, effective immediately.

In her new role, Duffield will oversee third-party licensing deals in the U.K. and Nordics across Turner’s kids’ and entertainment brands. She will work under Pierre Branco, senior VP and general manager for Turner Northern Europe, while also collaborating with Humphrey Black, VP of media distribution for Turner EMEA.

Prior to this appointment, Duffield was VP of distribution and sales for children’s content at FremantleMedia International. Earlier in her career, she served as head of international sales at Entertainment One. She has also previously worked for Turner, as well as for such companies as AETN, Chorion and Entertainment Rights.

Branco remarked: “Joss brings a wealth of experience to this role at a time of significant growth for our business in the region. Alongside our core channel business, we are continuing to develop new platform partnerships and innovative ways to exploit our rich programming inventory, and Joss’s expertise will be vital in driving forward our strategy across these key markets.”
