MTG has acquired the exclusive Nordic media rights to the highly anticipated August 26 showdown between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor.

The bout between the boxing legend and the MMA champion will be shown exclusively on MTG’s Viaplay streaming service and Viasat platforms on a pay-per-view basis. The pay-per-view will be priced at DKK 499 in Denmark, EUR 59.95 in Finland, NOK 499 in Norway and SEK 499 in Sweden.

We can’t wait to bring such a thrilling contest, which has massive appeal to all sports fans, to the Nordics on August 26 as the region’s biggest ever pay-per-view.”

Kristian Hysén, the head of sport at IMG Media, noted, “The Mayweather vs. McGregor event is an epic sport happening and we are delighted to work closely with MTG on the upcoming fight across the Nordic countries. MTG’s long experience and successful PPV operation is a perfect match for this event.”
