SPI Secures La La Land, Hacksaw Ridge & More for CEE

SPI International/FilmBox has acquired pay-window rights for several films, including the Academy Award-winning La La Land, for its FilmBox movie channels in select CEE territories.

The deal with Freeman Distribution covers La La Land, which will air on FilmBox movie channels in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Hungary. It also includes Mel Gibson’s Oscar-winning war drama Hacksaw Ridge, Office Christmas Party starring Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman, and the action thriller The Foreigner with Jackie Chan and Pierce Brosnan.
