MUNICH: Tele München Group (TMG) and Amazon Prime Video have sealed an output deal, granting exclusive rights to a package of feature films that includes Emerald Green.

Emerald Green brings the Ruby Red Trilogy from directors Felix Fuchssteiner and Katharina Schöde to a finish. Alongside this movie, Amazon gains exclusive rights to Allegiant, the third part of the successful blockbuster series; the Scandinavian comedy A Man Called Ove; and Now You See Me 2, which features Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Mark Ruffalo, Dave Franco and Daniel Radcliffe. The titles will be made available on demand on Amazon Prime Video’s SVOD service in a timely period following their German theatrical release. Prime members will also be able to download all titles without additional fees for offline viewing.

Herbert L. Kloiber, the managing director of TMG, said: “We are pleased to have signed this exclusive package deal with our partner Amazon Prime Video. Viewers will be able to see our top titles whenever and wherever they want to enjoy them.”

Dr. Christoph Schneider, the managing director of Amazon Video Germany, added: “With this exclusive deal with our partner TMG, Amazon Prime Video expands its extensive selection of more than 15,000 films and series and makes even more exclusive blockbusters available to Prime members on Germany’s favorite video-streaming service before they are available through any other provider.”
