MADRID: 2bacademy, 2btube’s arm dedicated to discovering and developing up-and-coming YouTubers, and education company Enforex have launched 2bcamp, the first summer camp in Spain that teaches the basics of how to become part of YouTube.

The initiative is part of the international summer camps organized by Enforex. 2bcamp will be held at Francisco de Vitoria University in Madrid from July 3 to 16. It is intended for youngsters and young people aged 11 to 18. Classes will be taught by 2btube’s staff members.

In addition to learning how to get started on YouTube, participants can opt to participate in other activities and classes at the Enforex camp. Enforex, which specializes in teaching languages and organizing summer camps globally, is offering a program that will allow attendees to learn English and spend time with students from other countries.

“Since we have launched 2bacademy, many young people have been asking us [for] information about how to get started on YouTube, and many parents have told us that their children want to be YouTubers,” said Bastian Manintveld, the executive chairman of 2btube. “So far, we’ve only helped YouTubers who already have their own channel, but we have come to realize that it was necessary to start a program that meets the needs of those who have creative interests and want to be present on YouTube but do not know how to get started.

“Being a successful YouTuber requires passion, commitment and responsibility, all values we want to instill in a fun and international environment at the Enforex summer camps.”

“We have over 25 years of experience organizing international summer camps that offer the unique opportunity to study in an international environment, since 40 percent of the participants are foreign students,” added Antonio Anadon, the president of Enforex. “Every year we innovate to meet the parents’ needs and the latest trends among teenagers, so we are very proud to be the first to be organizing such an innovative camp as 2bcamp!”
