Big Mountain Adds to Production Team

BELFAST: Big Mountain Productions is expanding with the appointment of Donna Higgins as the head of production and Lucy Wedlock to the newly created position of series producer.

Higgins is a line producer with 20 years of experience. She has worked in the U.K., the U.S. and Canada covering entertainment, lifestyle, music, drama, factual documentaries and more. Higgins has worked as a senior production manager at the U.K.’s Dragonfly Film & Television and has line-produced a number of projects for Blast Films and Double Act Films. Her recent credits include Web of Lies (Blast Films for Investigation Discovery), Dr Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet (Double Act Films for Animal Planet) and Flying to the Ends of the Earth (Blast Films for Channel 4).

Wedlock joins Big Mountain Productions with a host of series production and directing roles with major broadcasters including Channel 4, ITV, BBC Three and RTÉ under her belt. Her credits include One Born Every Minute (Channel 4), Four in a Bed (Channel 4), Come Dine with Me, (Channel 4), I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! (ITV), Don’t Drop the Baby (BBC Three) and Ireland’s Fittest Family (RTÉ 1).
