Duchess Street Productions Hires Exec from Raw TV

LONDON: Bob & Co's Duchess Street Productions has hired Miriam Brent, a former development editor at Raw TV, as the company's script executive, effective today.

In her new position, Brent will be responsible for developing Duchess Street's slate of high-end original drama and dramatic adaptations. She will also offer editorial guidance and support on existing projects. She will collaborate with Jo Roderick, the company's development producer.

Brent previously served as development editor at Raw TV. During her time with the company, she helped launch its drama division and developed a wide variety of U.K. and U.S. projects. She began her film and TV career as a runner on BBC's Desperate Romantics.

Donna Wiffen, the managing director of Duchess Street Productions, commented: "I am delighted to welcome Miriam to the family. With her experience of originating fresh ideas and ability of finding new emerging talent, I have no doubt she is going to be a great addition to the team."
