Blurrt Taps Former FremantleMedia Exec Simon Spalding

LONDON: Blurrt, which specializes in analyzing comments and sentiments on social media, has appointed former FremantleMedia executive Simon Spalding as executive chairman.

In his new role, Spalding will help determine the company’s strategic direction and oversee its growth plans in both the U.K. and international markets, building on his previous role as board advisor. He will lead investor relations and oversee sales and marketing processes as the brand continues to expand. Spalding has previously served as FremantleMedia's regional CEO for Europe and Asia Pacific and as the CEO of Yummi Media Group.
