ZED to Rep Kino Lorber Titles in Europe

PARIS: ZED has inked a deal with Kino Lorber to handle the European distribution of select documentaries and classic films from the latter company's catalogue.

The agreement includes the docs Seeds of Time (2014), directed by Sandy McLeod, and the 1970 Oscar-nominated King: A Filmed Record… Montgomery to Memphis. It also includes such restored masterpieces in HD as The Birth of a Nation (1915), directed by D.W. Griffith, and Scarlet Street (1931), directed by Fritz Lang.

ZED is a production, distribution and publishing company that is active in TV, cinema, DVD and new media. It currently oversees global distribution for 40 producers from France, Australia, Canada and the U.S.
