LONDON: Peep Show co-creator Andrew O’Connor and ITV Studios’ Cats on the Roof Media have entered into an exclusive first-look agreement with comedy writer and producer Lee Hupfield for the comedy label Second Act Productions.

The deal sees Hupfield set to write, direct and produce in the U.K. exclusively through ITV Studios’ Cats on the Roof Media’s comedy label Second Act Productions. O’Connor and ITV Studios teamed up earlier this year to establish Cats on the Roof Media. Along with Second Act Productions, the group also includes game show specialist Gameface Productions and Crook Productions.

Regarding the deal with Hupfield, O’Connor commented: "I'm looking forward to watching Lee make some funny stuff."

Hupfield added: "I'm looking forward to making some funny stuff."

Hupfield’s credits include serving as executive producer for the sitcom Toast of London (Channel 4) and other comedy shows like the award-winning John Bishop's Britain (BBC One), Russell Brand & Friends (Channel 4), The TNT Show with Jack Whitehall (Channel 4) and The Kevin Bishop Show (Channel 4), which he co-wrote and created. He also originated the internet clip show Robert’s Web (Channel 4) and the panel show The Mad Bad Ad Show (Channel 4). Most recently, Hupfield has been in the U.S working as showrunner for Betty White’s Off Their Rockers.
