LONDON: Endemol Shine UK has shaken up the management at Remarkable Television with the appointment of James Fox and Kitty Walshe as joint managing directors, effective immediately.

In their new joint role, Fox and Walshe will exercise general responsibility over all of Remarkable Television’s programming. They will be charged with expanding the company’s lineup of prime-time series and creating and producing new U.K. formats that have international appeal.

Fox most recently served as the creative director at Remarkable Games, a production hub within Remarkable that focuses on multiplatform game-show formats. Walshe joins the company from Twofour, where she served as head of features and daytime. Earlier in her career she spent seven years as an exec producer at Remarkable. Both Fox and Walshe report to Richard Johnston, the CEO of Endemol Shine UK.

In addition, Susan King, the current head of production at Remarkable Television, has been promoted to director of production. King will work closely with Fox and Walshe.

“James and Kitty have a genuine instinct for what makes Remarkable tick,” Johnston commented. “Along with their complementary skill set, they will make a dynamic and formidable team to lead the creation of a new and exciting lineup of shows.”

Remarkable Television has a portfolio of entertainment shows that includes Pointless, Deal or No Deal, The Million Pound Drop and Two Tribes. Upcoming prime-time features and factual-entertainment series include Bodyshockers, The House that £100K Built and It’s Glam Up North.
