Former Warp Films COO Joins Archery Pictures

LONDON: Alex Marshall has been hired as COO of Archery Pictures, a film and TV production venture launched last year by Liza Marshall and Kris Thykier.

Marshall had been serving as COO of Warp Films since 2008, serving as executive producer on many of the company's productions, including Four Lions and TV spin-offs of This is England. Most recently, he has been a producer on the CANAL+/Sky Atlantic series The Last Panthers.

Thykier and Liza Marshall said, “We’re thrilled to have Alex join our growing team at Archery Pictures. He is arriving at a key moment for us as we develop projects with some of the U.K.’s best talent, including Bill Nicholson, Peter Kosminsky, Neil Jordan, Adrian Hodges and Howard Overman. Alex’s deal-making experience will be vital in pushing these projects forward.”
