Management Changes at MTG

STOCKHOLM: Among the changes within the management team at Modern Times Group (MTG) is the appointment of Anders Jensen, currently the executive VP of the group's Scandinavian free-TV and radio operations, as CEO of MTG Sweden.

Kim Poder has been named CEO of MTG Denmark and Trygve Rønningen as CEO of MTG Norway. The country management roles are responsible for MTG’s free-TV, pay-TV and radio operations in each Nordic country.

MTG digital accelerator MTGx comprises Viaplay, Play and Ventures. Jonas Karlén has been appointed as CEO of Viaplay with effect from August 18. Both he and Arnd Benninghof, the CEO of Play and Ventures, report to Rikard Steiber, MTG's executive VP and chief digital officer. MTG Executive VP Jette Nygaard-Andersen now also becomes CEO of the group’s Central European free-TV, radio and local digital operations (in the Baltics, Czech Republic and Bulgaria), and CEO of MTG Broadcasting Technology. Marek Singer steps down as MTG executive VP to take on the full-time role as CEO of MTG’s Prima TV joint venture in the Czech Republic.
