Maker Studios Content Heads to CANALPLAY

CANNES: Canal+ Group's streaming service CANALPLAY is launching Maker On Demand, a new offering delivering access to short-form content from Disney-owned Maker Studios.

Available to CANALPLAY subscribers at no additional cost, Maker on Demand is launching this summer. It will be the first SVOD platform in France to deliver Maker Studios' content. The initial lineup will encompass about 2,000 videos across categories such as gaming, comedy, sports, fashion, beauty and family. About 200 pieces of content will be added to the platform each month.

CANALPLAY is available for €7.99 a month. As of the end of 2014 it had 600,000 subscribers.
