CANNES: From scripted fare to factual titles, ATRESMEDIA is showcasing a range of content in Cannes.

The comedy Down Below tracks the romance between a man from the northern part of Spain and the head nurse of a hospital in the south. Tell Me a Story, meanwhile, is a collection of TV movies based on classic children’s stories, but for an adult audience. “[The tales] are now psycho-thrillers set [in the present], where the Bad Wolf can be a boyfriend full of anger or the Beast a renowned actor severely deformed after an accident,” says Diana Borbón, the sales manager for ATRESMEDIA.

The company also presents Hostile Grounds, a current-affairs documentary series following two journalists as they travel to international hot zones.
