Sky Launches on PlayStation 3

LONDON: Sky TV customers who have Sky Go Extra or Sky Multiscreen will soon be able to watch a range of live and on-demand content, including Fortitude and True Detective, via PlayStation 3.

The move makes available a range of content from Sky entertainment channels and Sky Box Sets, including Girls and Modern Family. On top of the entertainment channels, Sky Go Extra customers can choose from more than 1,000 movies, including The Amazing Spider-Man 2, 300: Rise of an Empire, Bad Neighbours and Guardians of the Galaxy. Sports fans can watch live Barclays Premier League, Formula 1, Super Bowl XLIX and ICC Cricket World Cup with Sky Sports.

Luke Bradley-Jones, Sky’s brand director of TV products, commented: “It’s great news that millions of PlayStation 3 owners can now also watch the latest Sky TV content straight from their consoles. From our new drama Fortitude to Super Bowl XLIX and Disney’s Sofia the First, there’s something for everyone to enjoy on Sky this spring.”
