MADRID: Spain’s Televisión Española has sold several titles worldwide following their presence at the latest NATPE market in Miami.

According to the company, the series Victor Ros, which centers on a police inspector in 19th century Madrid, is being secured for broadcast in France and Italy. Additionally, TVE has extended its presence throughout the majority of the OTT segments in the Latin American market, reaching a new agreement with Esquire NBC for live broadcasts of the bullfighting events in Pamplona this year.

Furthermore, the channel known as Vive, the result of an agreement between TVE and WoraTv, is due to begin its free-to-air broadcasts in Costa Rica as of next March.

Rafael Bardem, TVE’s head of content sales, and María Jesús Gómez, the head of channel sales, commented that "TVE’s attendance at the event was highly fruitful, with progress having been made with regard to various different agreements, within one of the most important markets in Latin America.”
