New OTT Service Launches in France

LONDON: The retailer Carrefour has partnered with OTT platform provider Saffron Digital to launch a new multiplatform entertainment service in France, Nolim Films.

The service is now live, offering customers the ability to buy and rent TV series and movies on smartphones, tablets, televisions and computers. At launch, Nolim Films features Hollywood blockbusters such as Gravity, Godzilla and Edge of Tomorrow, as well as hit TV shows, including Gotham, The Walking Dead and Arrow. There is also a range of local French content. Customers will be able to rent and/or buy UltraViolet and non-UltraViolet content which will be automatically added to their digital library. They can then stream the purchased content directly to their connected devices or download for offline playback.
