Spanish Companies Report Brisk Business at NATPE 2015

MADRID: More Spanish companies attended this year’s NATPE than in 2014, according to Audiovisual from Spain, the umbrella brand for film and TV outfits from the Iberian country.

At the recently wrapped Miami market, 35 Spanish companies participated, a 25 percent increase from 2014’s 28 companies. Fourteen of those attended with a promotional booth while the other 21 were represented jointly under Audiovisual from Spain. The Spanish companies negotiated the selling of fiction and animated series, as well as miniseries, documentaries and entertainment programs.

Attending with their own booths at the event were Atresmedia, Boomerang TV Internacional, Edebé Audiovisual, Explora Films, Filmax International, Imagina International Sales, Imira Entertainment, Mediaset España Comunicación, Medina Media, Motion Pictures, Onza Distribution, Secuoya Content Distribution, TV3 Televisió de Catalunya and Televisión Español.

Those represented under the brand Audiovisual from Spain were Anima Kitchen, Audio Projects, BRB Internacional, Brutal Media, Comercial TV, Diagonal TV, Expressive Media Projects, Factoria Plural, Filmanova, Grupetto – Grupo Campus, Grupo Ganga, Jok Films, Movielang, Películas TV, Piamonte Group TV, Reset TV, Steinweg Emotion Picture, The Blackout Project and Videoglobal. Other Spanish institutions attending NATPE were Catalan Films & TV and Eiken Basque Audiovisual.
