LONDON: Zig Zag Productions has been tapped to produce a second season of the music-based quiz show Blink for Channel 4.

The 6×30-minute second season will be hosted by Harry Peacock (Ray Purchase from Channel 4’s Toast of London). Each episode will include two celebrity contestants facing a series of high-speed audio and visual music challenges. The celebrity guests are tested on their knowledge of music videos, songs and the stars that perform them. However, the contestants only have a fraction of a second to work things out.

Andy Scott, Zig Zag Productions’ head of entertainment, said: “We’re really excited to bring back Blink for a new series, we’ve beefed up the compelling play-along-at-home addictiveness, added a gorgeous revamped visual style, and injected some pure Hollywood magic by shooting the whole thing at Pinewood studios. I can’t wait to see the next batch of celebrities getting deeply competitive on the ‘fastest quiz on TV.’”
