UNTERFÖHRING: Sky Deutschland and Turner Broadcasting System have extended their partnership for several more years and have expanded the pact to include more nonlinear rights.

Viewers can watch the U.S. series Salem on TNT Serie, the original production InStyle: Das TV-Magazin on TNT Glitz and Die Cartoon Network Praktikanten: Jimi und Mitja machen den Jobcheck on Cartoon Network. Special programming includes hit films such as The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons on TNT Film and the brand-new Tom and Jerry Show on Boomerang.

The new pact also includes an expanded array of nonlinear rights for Sky. This makes a wider variety of programming from Turner available on the Sky Go, Sky Anytime and Sky Online services. This includes The Last Ship and Murder in the First on TNT Serie, Girls on TNT Glitz and Adventure Time: Abenteurzeit mit Finn und Jake on Cartoon Network.

Elka Walthelm, the VP of partner channels at Sky Deutschland, said: "For us, an important criterion in license agreements is to have top-quality programming, particularly German television premieres, with a high degree of exclusivity. This strengthens the clear positioning of the channels in terms of both linear and on-demand programming highlights that are available under each respective channel brand. We are thriller about the expanded agreement with Turner and the continuation of our successful partnership."

Hannes Heyelmann, the senior VP and managing director for Turner Broadcasting System in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux, Middle/Eastern Europe and Russia, added: "We're connected with Sky in a longstanding and successful partnership. Since TNT Glitz became part of the Sky offer in April, we're present with all our five pay-TV channels. We are delighted about the continuation of our cooperation."
