LONDON: BBC One has commissioned a full series of the game show Win Your Wish List, after successfully piloting the program last year.

Eight hour-long episodes have been commissioned from Victory Television. The series, set for Saturday nights, sees a pair of contestants choose their dream prizes to make up a wish list, all of which have a connection to their shared history together. They then face rounds of questions to win each of their wish-list prizes. The couple must decide which one of them will answer the questions, because the other will be asking them.

Mark Linsey, the BBC's controller of entertainment commissioning, said: “Win Your Wish List is an incredibly simple but highly addictive Saturday night game show, packed with drama, excitement, nail-biting jeopardy and some of the most treasured prizes on TV.”

Victoria Ashbourne, the managing director of Victory Television, added: “Win Your Wish List is unlike any other game show on television right now. The contestants bring their own wish list of prizes to the studio and must work as a team to win them. The game guarantees exciting and nerve-wracking moments, a perfect fit for BBC’s National Lottery.”
