MTG Inks Deal for SPT Titles

STOCKHOLM: Modern Times Group has inked an exclusive multi-year deal with Sony Pictures Television for a range of feature films and TV series to air on its Nordic platforms.

Among the movies included in the pact are The Smurfs, Django Unchained, Men In Black 3, The Amazing Spider-Man and upcoming titles like The Amazing Spider-Man 2, plus library fare. They will be made available on MTG’s ten Scandinavian free-TV channels, as well as on the Viasat Film pay-TV channels and the Viaplay online pay-TV service across the Nordic region.
