Beta Film’s Velvet Greenlit for Second Season

CANNES: Beta Film has signed up two new broadcasters for the show Velvet, which has just been greenlit for a second season.

Velvet was picked up by Italy's RAI Uno, which went for the TV and remake rights, as well as France's M6. The series, produced by bambu, which is also behind Grand Hotel, is set in the '50s and '60s in the famous Madrid fashion gallery. The first season had 16 70-minute episodes, and season two will have a further 13 70-minute episodes.
