LONDON: Magnolia Italy has appointed Endemol Italia's Leonardo Pasquinelli as its new managing director, while CEO Ilaria Dallatana steps down from her current post.

Francesca Canetta, the company's chief content officer, is also exiting. Dallatana and Canetta helped to create Magnolia Italy in 2001. Dallatana will remain on the board of Magnolia Italy and will also retain her position on the International Development Board (IDB) of Zodiak Media.

Pasquinelli was formerly the VP of operations at Endemol Italia. He now heads to Magnolia Italy starting mid-February.

Marc-Antoine d’Halluin, the CEO of Zodiak Media, said: “I am delighted to welcome Leonardo to the company. He joins Magnolia with a great deal of experience in the field in the Italian market, and will no doubt add to the company’s success. I would like to thank Ilaria and Francesca for their fantastic contribution to the success of Magnolia and look forward to Ilaria’s continued support and involvement at both a Magnolia and Zodiak level.”
