SET Scores Carriage on BT in the U.K.

LONDON: The general-entertainment channel Sony Entertainment Television (SET) has secured carriage with British Telecom (BT).

Starting next week, BT subscribers will be offered SET through the VT TV Entertainment and Unlimited Extra packages. The channel delivers such TV series as Will and Grace, Life on Mars and Jane Eyre, along with feature films, among them Seven Years in Tibet, Master and Commander and My Cousin Vinnie.

Kate Marsh, the senior VP for Western Europe at SPT Networks, said: “Sony Entertainment Television continues to grow its audience year on year and now reaches over seven million viewers. With BT being one of the U.K.’s fastest growing platforms, we look forward to expanding our carriage with this new audience.”
