Odeon Film Recruits Former Global Screen Exec

MUNICH: Britta Meyermann, who previously led acquisitions at Global Screen, has been hired as the head of international co-production for Odeon Film.

In her new role, Meyermann is responsible for building Odeon Film's international arm, which will concentrate on the development and co-production of television programming and feature films for the worldwide market. She is working under Mischa Hofmann, the company's CEO.

Prior to this appointment, Meyermann was the VP of acquisition and co-production for Telepool/Global Screen. Before that she worked for ZDF Enterprises, where she oversaw the acquisition of movies and TV series for ZDF and ZDF_neo in Germany.
