Sat.1 Bolsters Programming Team

UNTERFÖHRING: Seasoned television execs Taco Ketelaar and Kaspar Pflueger are on board to join the Sat.1 programming team in early 2014.

Ketelaar will become the senior VP of prime-time entertainment on February 1. In that position, he will oversee all of Sat.1's prime-time entertainment and reality formats. Ketelaar most recently served as CEO and partner of Blazhoffski Group. He was also a consultant to major international media companies.

On March 1, Pflueger takes on the roles of deputy head of Sat.1 broadcasting and operating officer. His duties will include supervising programming in Sat.1 Daytime and Access Prime. Pflueger has spent the past four years as program director for RTL Croatia.

In addition, Marc Rasmus, the general manager of Sat.1 Gold, has been named deputy head of Sat.1, effective January 1. He will be charged with the brand management of online, free- and pay-TV portfolios.
