SBS Discovery TV Finland Links Up with NBCU

HELSINKI: SBS Discovery Television Finland has secured an extensive free-TV content deal with NBCUniversal International Television Distribution for series and movies to be made available on TV5 and Kutonen channels in Finland.

The agreement includes such films as Fast & Furious 5, Snow White and the Huntsman, Bridesmaids, Ted and Johnny English Reborn. TV series that are part of the pact include Chicago Fire, Go On and Motive.

Toni Flyckt, the CEO of SBS Discovery Television, commented: “We are very pleased with the deal as it guarantees that our viewers in Finland will have access to NBCUniversal’s hit movies and high-quality drama and comedy series, now, and in forthcoming years.”
