Comedy Central UK Acquires Seasons Eight & Nine of The Office

LONDON: Comedy Central UK has picked up the rights for seasons eight and nine of The Office in an agreement with NBCUniversal International Television Distribution.

The series is co-produced by Deedle-Dee Productions and Shine American in association with Universal Television. The pickup for seasons eight and nine completes Comedy Central UK's offering of the American version of the comedy.

“The Office is a staple in Comedy Central UK’s schedule with a consistently solid viewer-base,” said Brad Wood, the head of acquisitions at Comedy Central UK. “We’re delighted to have picked up the remaining two seasons so we can deliver more of what our viewers love to watch.”
