Cyfrowy Polsat Licenses NBCU Films for VOD

WARSAW: Poland’s Cyfrowy Polsat has entered into a deal with NBCUniversal International Television Distribution for the studio’s library films and new releases, which will be available on the platform’s VOD service and the ipla Internet portal.

Cyfrowy Polsat’s subscribers and ipla gain access to a range of movies from NBCUniversal, including musicals, sci-fi/fantasy, romantic comedies and thrillers. The first of the studio’s films to hit the platform is Les Misérables, which is already available in DTH VOD and on ipla. Other films included within the pact are Oblivion, Fast & Furious 6, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, It’s Complicated and Mamma Mia.

NBCUniversal film content on ipla Internet television can be accessed through the website ipla.tv and on various authorized devices.
