LONDON: Laura Bessell-Martin has joined Argonon as chief operating officer, after having previously worked at Shed Media.

Bessell-Martin joins the company as it strengthens its focus on strategic acquisition and commercial exploitation of IP across all areas of business. She will be reporting to CEO James Burstall in a position that sees her working with all key heads across the group as well as Paul Heaney, whose TCB Media Rights is supporting Argonon’s international efforts, and Kate Burns, Accelerate co-founder who is working with Argonon on its digital growth plans.

Burstall, commented: “We are thrilled to welcome Laura into the group during this exciting period for Argonon. Laura’s extensive experience in both international markets and the M&A arena will be invaluable as we move forward with our acquisition strategy and development of IP across the group.”

Bessell-Martin said: “I am delighted to be joining Argonon at such an important point in their journey. In addition to using my commercial and M&A experience to support the group’s ambitious growth plans, I will be working closely with the hugely talented team right across the group, to maximize rights and drive value across international markets. This is a unique opportunity and I am hugely excited by the scope of the role.”
