LONDON: Endemol is reorganizing its commercial and global brands businesses, part of which sees a newly created group commercial board comprised of senior executives from around the world being established in place of Endemol Worldwide Brands (EWB).

Branco Scherer, formerly the regional director for international at EWB, takes on the role of board executive director of commercial affairs. He will be coordinating with Endemol’s commercial teams around the globe to make sure that ideas are shared across the group. Scherer reports to Lucas Church, who takes on the post of chair of the group commercial board in addition to his ongoing role as CEO of Endemol U.K.

Additional appointments to the new board from across the company will be made at a later time. Former EWB execs will now report directly to local managing directors in each territory while also working with Scherer.

Tim Hincks, the president of Endemol Group, commented: “Our aim with these changes is to continue expanding our day-to-day commercial business locally whilst sharing ideas across the group about the big opportunities for Endemol in today’s fast changing global market.”
