Endemol COO Resigns

PARIS/AMSTERDAM: Virginie Calmels is leaving her posts as the COO of Endemol Group and CEO of Endemol France.

Calmels joined the company in September 2003. She was in the position of managing director, then CEO of Endemol France, then was elevated to COO of the Endemol Group.

Just Spee, CEO of Endemol, said: "Virginie did a great job in the different roles she held within the group and I wish her the very best for her future."

Calmels commented: "I would like to thank all the people I’ve worked with over the last nine and a half years, especially shareholders, the management board, the managing directors in all territories and all the employees I was in contact with, particularly Endemol France’s team. I wish all of them the best for the future in the great creative and international group that Endemol is; and I wish every success to my successors both in France and at group level!"
