Before the market even started, ZDFE had inked agreements with such broadcasters as the BBC, RAI Italy, TVE in Spain, FTV Prima in the Czech Republic, Canal+ in France and Sky Germany as well as the online platform Netflix for the U.S. and U.K.

At MIPCOM, ZDFE was joined by Foz Allan, producer of the new children’s drama series Wolfblood; Oliver Berben from Moovie, producers of the mini-series Crime: Stories; Peter Bose and Jonas Allen from Danish Miso Film for the crime series Dicte; and Dolphin Digital Studios, co-producers of Anthony Zuiker’s Cybergeddon. Gillian Anderson and writer Allan Cubitt were in Cannes with ZDFE to launch the new crime show The Fall, a co-production with BBC Two.

Alexander Coridass, the president and CEO of ZDF Enterprises, commented: “We are pleased with the enormous interest of international clients in the latest additions to our catalogue. Despite the difficult times, creativity in the industry is booming. We are proud to be part of this process which we support with our investments in innovative programming.”
