Nymphs Franchise Gets Extended

STOCKHOLM: While the fantasy series Nymphs is making its official debut at MIPTV 2013, NonStop Sales has already inked agreements for a feature film and line of books to extend the franchise.

Presales for the 12×44-minute series are currently being discussed at MIPCOM. Russian distributor Volga Film, Finnish TV3 and Baltic Showtime are among those already on board. A full feature film is now set for production in 2013-14. A series of books will be published by Gummerus Publishers that follow after the series. The first books from the franchise will launch in spring 2013. The film will serve as a prequel.
