LONDON: Sky has clinched a deal to add content from Channel 5 to its on-demand service, Sky Anytime+, later this year.

The broadcaster will join BBC and ITV on the catch-up service, alongside a slate of on-demand programming from Sky. Also available is content from MTV, UKTV, Discovery, FX, HISTORY, Disney and National Geographic. In addition to appearing on the main Anytime+ menu, Channel 5 programming will be available through a dedicated Demand 5 player. Shows slated to be available include Big Brother, Celebrity Big Brother, The Bachelor, The Hotel Inspector, The Mentalist and the documentary strand Revealed, plus the U.S. import Dallas.

"Available in all Sky+HD homes with an internet connection, Sky Anytime+ gives Sky customers even more choice and control over how they watch their favourite TV," said Luke Bradley-Jones, director of TV products at Sky. "More Sky customers than ever before are enjoying the range and quality of the on-demand content available on the service, which will be further enhanced by the addition of catch-up content from the BBC, ITV and Channel 5 later this year.”
