NBCU Hires for Creative & Marketing Roles

LONDON: NBCUniversal International Television has appointed Marco Giusti as VP of creative and Seema Kotecha as VP of marketing, both to be based in London.

Giusti takes on the newly created role to lead the creative evolution of the channel’s portfolio. The remit includes leadership of the on-air team for E! Entertainment Television and The Style Network. Giusti joins from Warner Bros. International Branded Services, where he was the VP of programming and marketing for EMEA.

Kotecha takes on responsibility for the core channel brands Universal Channel, 13th Street Universal, Studio Universal and Diva Universal. Responsibilities include affiliate and ad sales. She will also provide marketing support for NBCUniversal International’s television production group. Kotecha recently was the head of marketing for BBC Global News.

Both Giusti and Kotecha report to Lee Raftery, the executive VP of international marketing at NBCUniversal. Raftery commented: "Both Marco and Seema bring a wealth of experience to NBCUniversal International Television’s central marketing team and their appointments are integral to the success of our core portfolio of channel brands around the world.
