Film1 Netherlands Adds New Channel

AMSTERDAM: Chellomedia’s Dutch movie service Film1 is launching the new channel Film1 Series, which will feature shows such as the American drama Revenge.

Launching January 17, Film1 Series will offer hit American series such as Once Upon a Time, Revenge, Necessary Roughness and Breaking Bad. The new Canadian series Bomb Girls and The Bridge, as well as the Danish series Borgen, will also be featured.

“We are delighted to launch Film1 Series, which adds a new, unique and compelling dimension of choice and value to our digital premium movie channel service,” said Casper Keller, the general manager of Film1. “We realize that our subscribers would like to enjoy commercial-free episodes of popular TV series. With the addition of Film1 Series, we expand the breadth of our viewing choices and now offer premium TV series enjoyment to our viewers.”
