George Lamb to Host The Bank Job for C4

LONDON: Channel 4 is launching the new game-show format The Bank Job, which will be hosted by George Lamb, in January.

The show features four contestants who are taken to a real bank vault filled with hundreds of thousands of pounds of cash. To win the game, players must answer questions for six nights. On the final night, the five winners from the five live shows return with the money they’ve won, pooling it together to compete against each other in a winner-takes-all final. Contestants are drawn from an online game used to unlock the application form. The Bank Job is produced by Remarkable Television, an Endemol company. The executive producers are David Flynn and Tom Blakeson, and the series producer is James Fox.

Lamb said, "I’m super happy to be back at Channel 4, working on such an exciting and ground-breaking live show. If you cross an edge-of-your-seat game show with Ocean’s Eleven and add a twist of real-time viewing then you’ve got The Bank Job.”
