ZDF Enterprises (ZDFE) and Hong Kong’s PCCW have signed their first drama deal, which includes such titles as the miniseries Ku’damm 56 and its sequel Ku’damm 59.

The deal includes Hamburg Homicide, a crime series produced by ZDF Enterprises subsidiary Network Movie for German pubcaster ZDF, and the suspenseful Swedish cop series Before We Die, produced by B-Reel Films in co-production with SVT, ZDF and ZDF Enterprises. The series will be aired on PCCW’s English-language free-TV channel ViuTVsix in Hong Kong.

Robert Franke, ZDF Enterprises’ VP of ZDFE.drama, said: “This deal will see a selection of some of our best drama programs make their debut in Hong Kong. All titles showcase excellent international content with gripping storylines and intriguing characters. We are looking forward to bringing even more drama to ViuTVsix in the future.”
