Yellowstone Co-Creator Taylor Sheridan Inks Deal with ViacomCBS

ViacomCBS Entertainment & Youth Brands has signed an overall production and development deal with Taylor Sheridan, co-creator of Paramount Network’s hit series Yellowstone.

The deal covers multiple projects that will have David Glasser and 101 Studios executive producing and Keith Cox, president of ViacomCBS Entertainment and Youth Studios, overseeing.  Among the projects is the first season of the scripted drama Mayor of Kingstown, which is centered on seven federal prisons and follows a family that serves as the power brokers between the criminals, the cops, the prisoners and politicians.

Mayor of Kingstown comes from creator and executive producer Sheridan, along with co-creator and executive producer Hugh Dillon, executive producer Glasser and 101 Studios. Further, Paramount Network ordered a fourth season of Sheridan’s Yellowstone. Season three of the series, which stars Oscar winner Kevin Costner, premieres this summer.
