Sam Elliott Joins Paramount+’s Landman

Academy Award nominee and Screen Actors Guild Award winner Sam Elliott (1883) has joined the cast of the second season of Paramount+’s Landman as a series regular.

Co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, the series takes place in the boomtowns of West Texas, revolving around the world of oil rigs. Elliott joins a cast that also features Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore and Andy Garcia, among others.

Additional cast members are Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan and Colm Feore.

The series is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios and Sheridan’s Bosque Ranch Productions. It is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

Season two is now filming in Texas. Season one is available to stream exclusively on Paramount+.
