Widows’ War Heads to Netflix in the Philippines

GMA Network’s murder mystery Widows’ War is set to debut on Netflix in the Philippines on April 16.

Starring Bea Alonzo and Carla Abellana, the drama follows the story of former best friends who cross paths again while mourning their spouses. Soon after, they become suspects in the sudden deaths of each other’s husbands.

Alonzo and Abellana are joined in the cast by Benjamin Alves, Rafael Rosell, Tonton Gutierrez, Jeric Gonzales, Juancho Triviño, Jackie Lou Blanco, Lito Pimentel, Timmy Cruz, Rita Daniela, Royce Cabrera, Lovely Rivero, James Graham, Charlie Fleming, Matthew Uy and Jean Garcia.

Widows’ War is produced by GMA Entertainment Group, helmed by Zig Dulay and Jerry Lopez-Sineneng. It is based on an original concept by RJ Nuevas and Ken De Leon.
