Vikings Ordered for Season Five

NEW YORK/TORONTO: Vikings has been renewed for a 20-episode fifth season, which will see Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors) joining the cast.

From creator and sole writer Michael Hirst (The Tudors), Vikings is a family saga that tells the tales of the lives and epic adventures of the raiders and explorers of the Dark Ages. Vikings is an international Irish/Canadian co-production by World 2000 and Take 5 Productions. HISTORY broadcasts the series both in Canada and the U.S.
