Trigger Point Continues to Sell Globally

All3Media International has continued global sales of Trigger Point, with the series now available across Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, Australia and Africa.

Season two has been acquired by CBC in Canada, Stan in Australia, OSN in the Middle East, TVNZ in New Zealand, Movistar Plus+ in Spain, Canal+ in France and French-speaking territories, NPO in the Netherlands and BritBox for the U.S. and South Africa.

Partners for season one include Virgin Media in Ireland, RÚV in Iceland; Disney+ in Portugal; Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation in Cyprus; PRO TV in Romania; PRO TV Chișinău in Moldova; CMore in Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden; HBO in Latin America; BBC First in South Asia; Pumpkin Films in China; and WOWOW in Japan.

Trigger Point centers on a bomb disposal squad, who risk their lives daily. The second season continues to follow Lana Washington, who returns from secondment in Estonia, where she was training Ukrainian bomb disposal teams. While giving a routine talk to security officers from major financial institutions about the issues surrounding bomb-centered terrorism, a bomb attack takes place in the heart of the city.

The series stars Vicky McClure (Without Sin), Nabil Elouahabi (Blue Lights, Unforgotten), Eric Shango (Suspicion), Mark Stanley (Happy Valley; The Thief, His Wife and The Canoe), Kerry Godliman (After Life, Whitstable Pearl), Kris Hitchen (Four Lives) and Kevin Eldon (Sanditon). New cast members for season two are Natalie Simpson (North Sea Connection, Outlander), Julian Ovenden (Bridgerton) and Tomiwa Edun (Young Wallander, Trying).

Trigger Point is produced by Hat Trick Mercurio (HTM) Television and written by Simon Ashdown (Our House, EastEnders), Amanda Duke (Treason), Chris Brandon and Daniel Brierley. Brierley is also the creator of the show.
